News24xx.com -  Tragic, a British woman died in Turkey after undergoing bum lift surgery at a cosmetic clinic, at the Elite Aftercare Clinic in Izmir.

The woman named Leah Cambridge, 29, from Leeds, collapsed shortly after undergoing lift surgery at a clinic that favoured by reality TV stars, such as Kim Kardashian, with the price about £3,000.

Beautician Leah is thought to have suffered complications during the procedure and died on the operating table as doctors were unable to save her. The devastated partner of Leah, Scott Franks, said her family are ‘still waiting for answers’ over the tragedy.

Scott, 31, said, "People need to be aware of situations that can happen with this treatment. We are still waiting for answers and are also trying to get a flight to bring Leah home."

Scott, the father of Leah’s three sons, has now flown to Turkey to bring her corpse home and to find out what went wrong.

Until now, the bum lift procedure has become an increasingly popular technique for achieving an hourglass figure shape. It involves reshaping the bum, by transferring fat from other areas of the body, including the stomach and back.

But experts have warned it carries a risk of serious complications.

The huge popularity of curvier celebrities including Kim Kardashian, Kylie Jenner and Nicki Minaj has seen more and more women going to extreme lengths to emulate their hourglass figures.
