In England, boys wearing skirts to go to school because of hot weather

News24xx.com -  About 30 boys wearing skirts to school in protest because it is forbidden to wear shorts.

ISCA Academy students in Exeter,Southwest United Kingdom want permission to change their uniforms because of the hot weather that reaches more than 34 Celcius in Wednesday, June 21 2017.

One of the children who participated in the rally said, "We are not allowed to wear shorts, and I don't want to sit around wearing pants all day, because it was a bit hot."

Principal Aimee Mitchell says the ' shorts ' is not part of the school uniform, as reported Devon Live.

They expect schools will reconsider the policy of shorts because of the rally. And the headmaster himself has hinted at it.

"We saw that in the last few days the weather was very hot and we strive to allow the student and staff feel as comfortable as possible."The shorts are currently not part of the uniform for boys and I will not make changes without meet up with students and families.

"However, because the hotter weather is becoming increasingly common, with pleasure I will consider to change it in the future." Claire Reeves that her son was a student at the school said he had asked the school's associated permission for her son to wear shorts, but "rejected".

"I am very proud that he is defending its rights. People always talk about the equal rights of men and women, and the school uniform must also be included in it, "he said.
