With its price which too expensive, turns out the newest iPhones are made from recycled parts


IllustrationIllustration - Apple's new iPhone trio, iPhone XS, iPhone XS Max, and iPhone XR, were made using recycled materials. This was revealed by Lisa Jackson, Vice President of Environment, Apple's Policy and Social Initiatives.

She revealed that the three new iPhones use recycled tin on their logic board, or the same as the motherboard on the computer. Jackson also said that the glass wrap on the cellphone's trio body, 32% of which contains plastic made from organism substances. This is one of their steps in reducing the impact of the process of making its products on the environment.

Furthermore, she said if Apple tried not to mine new material from Earth, but it was difficult to fulfill. So, they chose to find ways to utilize recycled materials. "Apple needs to make devices that last as long as possible, and ensure they are recycled properly" she said, as quoted from CNET, Sunday, September 16th 2018.

"All of these devices, including iPhone XS, are running on iOS 12. Because they last longer" she continued.
