A snake slithered across the floor of an airport in the Philippines, caused panic among passengers waiting for the flights

News24xx.com -  A reptile sparked panic as it made its way through security and slithered across the floor of an airport in the Philippines. It's makes, hundreds of passengers waited in the departure lounge at the Daniel Z Romualdez Airport in Tacloban, were horrified by the creature.

The black rat snake can be seen winding its way across the tiled floor and the passengers was screaming and leaping from their seats. The incident was filmed in a video on last Sunday, Sept, 16 2018.

The airport security have no idea how it made its way through security. An onlooker named Leon Anover said he was catching a plane with his wife that evening when he noticed people panicking at the sight of the reptile. 
  
Footage shows one member of airport security staff using a long pole to pin the snake down before another stuffs it into a plastic bag. 

The Philippines rat snake, a non-venomous predator which feeds on rodents and birds, slithered through the airport lounge for around five minutes before it was caught. 

The snake was then released back into the wild in bushes near the airport. 

A spokesman for the Daniel Z. Romualdez Airport said on that nobody was injured by the snake.
