Egyptian man was arrested by police after uploading video of him and woman having breakfast together

News24xx.com - An Egyptian man was arrested after uploading a video of his moment when he had breakfast with a woman in Saudi Arabia. In the video, the man smiled as the woman waved at the camera. The two laughed and joked together while the woman fed her food to the man.

Saudi Ministry of Labor and Social Development stated that the man committed several violations and sat in a place reserved for local residents. Under the law in Saudi Arabia, when it comes to public work or restaurants, single men are not allowed to sit with women and must sit in separate areas.

Meanwhile, women are not permitted to do many activities without being accompanied by her male guardian such as father or husband. The arrest is made just months after Saudi women enjoyed drastic changes with new rules, such as being allowed to drive their own vehicles.

For the first time, Saudi Arabia allowed women to enter sports stadiums. Places that so far can only be visited by men begin to accommodate women and children.
