News24xx.com - Camping is considered good as a way to help you feel better about yourself, closer to the people you love and create a sense of being connected to the world. In a world where fear of loss (fear of missing out, FOMO) contributes to anxiety, camping may have a special place in improving mental health with its ability to cut people from technology.

Alistair Mitchell said that his childhood experience of camping and returning to nature helped him long way to recover her mental illness. He had struggled with mental illness for a long time in his life, then his autistic son was born who then triggered a new attack on his soul.

After falling into drug and alcohol habits to reduce stress he had tried to take her own life. She managed to reverse the condition, from a survivor of a suicide attempt and is now a mental health adviser, health and fitness coach who specializes in serving AFL regional football clubs.

In her younger life working hard at harvesting the family farm, camping trips to the beach during the summer became a lifeline and recovery from fatigue. "Family connections are very good and you are outside doing fun things in the open air" Mitchell said. "You are connected with family, reading books and that is only - more time for you."
