News24xx.com - This poor woman must experience brain damage. After she consumed herbal tea for health, over the past few years. A mother from Florida, America, has just demanded three bars accused of serving herbal tea, which is considered to be the cause of her daughter's brain damage.

Reported by UK Daily Mail (49), a woman named Tabar Mart reported that Brette, her 19-year-old daughter suffered brain damage. Since four years ago, Brette used to consume herbal teas made from kratom leaves, in three of its subscription bars.

Kratom leaves are known can reduce anxiety and pain. But in March, Brette's health began to decline and was not controlled. He often hallucinated, until she had to be rushed to a mental hospital at the Florida Mental Health Act.

Doctors found that Brette suffered damage in her frontal lobe, or part of the brain associated with creativity, mobility, and memory. Tabar finally decided to sue Bula on the Beach, Mad Hatter, and Ethobotanical Tea Bar in Pinellas County, the three of Brette’s subscription bars. Tabar claims that these three bars do not give a warning to her daughter, about the side effects of consuming kratom tea.

Kratom is a tree that is often found in Southeast Asia, such as Malaysia, Myanmar and Thailand. Eating kraton leaves can indeed cause side effects such as psychotropic, changing the mind, to hallucinations. Usually kratom leaves are crushed, or converted into powder that is put into capsules or tablets, and brewed into tea. Actually the circulation of kratom, has been banned in the regions of Alabama, Arkansas, Illinois, Indiana, Tennessee, to Wisconsin.

Responding to this charges, one of the bars gave their response. "I think the charges are unwarranted, because many people consume and drink kratom tea. And no one has ever had health problems" said Levi Love, owner of the Mad Hatter bar.

Besides that Levi revealed that the bar was only for people aged over 18 years. While Mary admitted that Brette had been drinking it since 4 years ago. So it's likely that Brette ordered this herbal tea secretly, before she was old enough to drink it.
