A study says, this kind of affair is more common among women

News24xx.com -  Every relationship has its own boundaries, circumstances and an understanding level. But, when it comes to infidelity, it might be difficult to categorise the reasons that lead to that situation.

Recently, a sex therapist who also  a relationship expert at a dating site, Tammy Nelson has claimed that there are only two types of cheating and has even categorised these according to the gender.

The first type
Sometime, there are some partner commits adultery to end the relationship with their present partner and may not be interested in addressing the issues that have damaged their bond. This kind of cheating is more common among women than men. 

Women know that their relationship would end quickly if they get caught, which in turn would save their ‘time’. Also, cheating on their partner will damages their ego and hence, only there is little or no room for forgiveness.

The second type
The second type of cheating is more common among men. They cheat on their partners when they feel something is missing in their relationship and try to seek it from the third person by having an affair.

Experts explain that people who cheat on their significant other try to address their emotional and physical needs outside their relationship, but it does not mean, that the person wants to part their ways from the current partner. 

According to experts, especially men, can cheat if they get special attention from someone else. 

Men seek more attention than women, and they feel more virile and younger when someone shows interest in them. 
In fact, the probability of cheating may be higher after a couple has kids because the wife may give her more priority to the children, and making the husband feel less desired. So, the husband decided to have an affair with another woman.
