News24xx.com -  This is the orld’s most expensive home in the world. The home named Antilia was deemed the world’s most expensive private residential property in 2014. The glass-covered building towers over the city’s 20 million residents and well above the smog the city.

A 27-storey building estimated to cost £1 billion ( IDR 20 trillion) and has 600 staff members to helping serve a family of five people also comes with three helipads, a number of swimming pools and a theatre.

The home is owned by India’s wealthiest man, Mukesh Ambani.

The 61-year-old billionaire businessman and his wife Nita live at the sprawling 570ft building with their three children Anant, Akash and Isha.


Ambani, who chairs and runs oil and gas giant Reliance Industries, has topped the 2018 Hurun India Rich List for the seventh time in a row. In 2017, he was also named India’s wealthiest man on the Forbes rich list, which revealed his wealth estimated £34 billion.

According to Reliance, September 25 2018,  Mr Ambani also owns the Indian Premier League cricket team, the Mumbai Indians and an Indian university. 


In 2010, Antilia was named as the world’s first ‘billion dollar’ private home and in a 2012 interview with Vanity Fair revealed 80% if the building’s ceilings are covered by chandeliers.
