8 of Esemka cars has passed SUT test, and ready for mass production

News24xx.com - After a period of licensing, finally the certificate of type test (SUT) has been issued by the ministry. This issuance was issued on Wednesday, October 10th 2018 yesterday. As reported by Gridoto.com.

Mentioned by the Head of Public Relations of the Directorate General of Land Transportation of the Ministry of Transportation, Pitra Setiawan, there were eight units that had obtained this SUT, namely Garuda I 2.0 (4x4) MT, Bima 1.3 L (4x2) M / T, Bima 1.0 (4x2) M / T, Niaga 1.0 (4x2) M / T, Bima 1.8D (4x2) M / T, Bima 1.3 (4x2) M / T, Borneo 2.7D (4x2) M / T, and Digdaya 2.0 (4x2) M / T.

Esemka car that passed SUT consists of various types, ranging from passenger cars, freight transport to open tanks, minibuses and double cabin transport vehicles. The cars are equipped with gasoline and diesel engines.

"The certificate of registration type test (SRUT) has also been submitted, in total there are 100 units" he said.

"Administratively, companies and factories have obtained permission to produce Esemka in mass" he said.

Director of Maritime Industry, Transportation Equipment, and Defense Equipment of the Ministry of Industry (Kemenperin) Putu Juli Ardika also revealed that Ministry of Industry has issued the Establishment of the Company Application of Vehicle Identification Number (NIK) and Type Registration Certificate (TPT) of motorized vehicles for the Type Test and / or Production for several types of vehicles PT Solo Manufaktur Kreasi and PT Adiperkasa Citra Esemka Hero.
