BTS performed in Korean event in Paris, even taking picture with the president

News24xx.com - Famous K-Pop boyband, BTS, performed in front of South Korean President, Moon Jae-in, during the event of Resonance of Korean Musician in Paris, France, on Sunday, October 14th. The event was held to strengthen the friendship between South Korea and France through music.

During the event, BTS performed their songs “IDOL” and “DNA”. Meanwhile, Jungkook could only sit because his leg was still injured. “It is an honor for us to be able to participate in a meaningful event such as this in Paris,” BTS said, represented by their leader, RM, after the show.
 

At the end of the event, President Moon Jae-in and First Lady Kim Jung-sook went up the stage to shake hands with the performers. The couple even gave V and Jungkook a hug. They even took picture together, with casual pose and wide smile. The picture was posted on BTS official account @bts_bighit, and later retweeted by the members’ personal accounts.
 

Other than BTS, some other musicians from South Korea also performed at the event, like Black Spring and MoonGoGo. The event was attended by a number of high officials from both South Korea and France. The organizers also invited around 100 fans of hallyu.
 

Sometime ago, President Moon had congratulated BTS’ achievement for being at the top of Billboard 200 with two of their albums, “Love Yourself: Tear” and “Love Yourself: Answer”. When BTS talked in UN, First Lady Kim gave them a gift in the form of a watch with Moon’s name on it.
 

From Pari, BTS flew to Berlin, Germany, for another concert which will be held on October 16th and 17th. At the end of the week, on October 19th, they will meet greet their fans with a concert in Accorhotels Arena, Paris.
