Introducing Atlas, a robot which can imitate human parkour movement

News24xx.com - Boston Dynamics, a company from United States, recently shared a short video showing the ability of a homemade robot. Atlas is the name of his creation. Video recording that lasting less than a minute shows Atlas capable of doing parkour. Yes, the robot is able to run while moving from one box to another which has a different height.

Don't be amazed. It's just one of the many athletic skills it has. Some time ago, the company under Soft Bank Group showed Atlas capability of doing a backflip. Before doing it, the robot can jump from one box to another that has a different height. Then, he jumped into a box that was equal in height to its hips followed by a backflip afterwards.

In addition, in another video uploaded to YouTube, the robot appeared to be jogging. Its also showing off its ability to recognize objects that block its path.
