News24xx.com -  With a shotgun and detonated a bomb in a college canteen, a student has killed at least 17 people and wounded 40 others at Kerch Polytechnic College in Kerch, eastern Crimea.

The suspect Vladislav Roslyakov, 18, stalking the college corridors with a shotgun before the attack. Then, he launched a shotgun rampage.

From a disturbing footage shows that he ‘killed everyone’ during the 15-minute attack. He reportedly set off a homemade nail bomb in the canteen, but no-one died in the blast, despite initial reports saying the explosion killed all the students.

And after the shotgun attack, he killed himself.

Sergei Aksyonov, the regional leader in Crimea, said the student, a local man acting alone. " I has been fell asleep during a lecture and woke up to the sound of shooting. Then, I saw a young man with a rifle shooting at people. I locked the door, hoping he wouldn’t hear me."

The police arrived about ten minutes later to evacuate the college and he saw dead bodies on the floor and charred walls. Military units were deployed around the college.

After the attack, local officials declared a state of emergency on the Black Sea peninsula that the Russians annexed from Ukraine in 2014. They also beefed up security at a new 12-mile bridge that links the peninsula with Russia, which opened earlier this year.
