Had none, now hotspot in Riau appears on Siak

News24xx.com - Friday, October 19th, 2018, Meteorology, Climatology and Geophysics Agency (BMKG) recorded a hotspot in Riau. Even though almost a week, hotspots in Riau were not detected.

As said by Head of Information Section of the BMKG Station Pekanbaru, Marzuki. "Sumatra Hotspot with a confidence level above 50 percent are 31 points. It spreads in 23 points in South Sumatra, Bengkulu in 1 point, Lampung in 4 points and Babel in 2 points, and 1 point in Riau which located in Siak Regency" he said.

While the weather during the day the maximum air temperature is 32 degrees Celsius. With humidity of 60-98 percent and wind comes from Southwest to Northwest with the speed 09-27 km/hour.

The weather during the day is potentially rain with strong winds occurring in parts of Inhu, Dumai, and Meranti Islands.

"The nighttime weather is potentially heavy rain with strong winds and lightning occurring in Inhu, Kampar, Rohul, Siak, Rohil, Bengkalis. Pelalawan, and Kuansing" said Marzuki.
