News24xx.com -  Tragic, a woman was killed with an eight-month-old baby at her womb, after a drunk driver crashed into her minivan in Hemet, California, on September 9 2018.

The woman named Krystil, 29 had just finished work and was due to go on maternity leave at the time of the accident.

Now, her grieving husband has shared pictures of his wife in her coffin holding their lifeless baby daughter.

The man named Zach Kincaid, 34, was on the phone to wife before the incident. Zach said, "We were talking, and then I just heard her scream. That scream only probably lasted about two seconds, but it replays in my mind very, very slowly."

And earlier this week,  he shared heartbreaking pictures of Krystil in her coffin holding their lifeless baby daughter she was weeks away from giving birth to. Zach shared photos online of Krystil in her coffin with daughter Avalynn on her chest wearing a red dress and wrapped in a white blanket.

He hopes the pictures will show everyone the result of drink driving.

Zach told, "I put those pictures up so everyone can see the nightmare that I’m living and my kids are living every day for the rest of our lives. I’m using it as a tool to protect everyone else. It’s not about me getting vengeance. This is about doing what’s right."

When the accident occured, Zach told, " It sounded like the car was tumbling after that, but it didn’t. And then there was just silence. I didn’t hear her whimper. The silence was terrifying. The silence lasted for awhile."

Then, he could hear people rush to the car and try and open the door. They told him Krystil was still breathing.

"I’m screaming from the floor, “She’s pregnant, she’s pregnant, is the baby okay? I was stuck 450 miles away from her on the other side of the phone."

Once the fire department arrived, Zach was told they still had a pulse and that they would get her out of the car.

Meanwhile, Zach tried to get a flight home that night but couldn’t – and a couple hours later, he received the dreaded news from a doctor that his daughter, who they planned to name Avalynn Onix, had died.

When he finally arrived at the hospital, 12 hours later, Zach was then told that Krystil had failed her first neurological test and her second and the only thing left that was working was her heart.  At 12.09am the doctor told that, "She’s not here anymore."

Krystil had an 11-year-old daughter, two sons aged eight and four and was stepmum to a 14-year-old girl.

Marcos Forestal, 28, who was driving the BMW that struck Krystil’s car, suffered minor injuries and was arrested on suspicion of driving while intoxicated.

So far, a GoFundMe page for the family has raised USD 52,000.
