News24xx.com - Using NASA's Fermi Gamma-Ray Space Telescope, scientists initiated a number of new 'constellations'. Interestingly, they have their own method of categorizing the space light collection. This constellation is based on the source of gamma ray exposure in the sky, so this can be said to be a constellation of gamma rays. This was done as a form of celebration of the 10th year of the Fermi mission.

Uniquely, the legendary physicist Albert Einstein was chosen to be the name for one of the 21 new gamma ray constellations made. The reason is related to the famous calculation he created. The formula E = mc2 he made is very related to energy and elements (related to physics). Well, the Large Area Telescope (LAT) from Fermi is based on this fact in detecting gamma rays.

In its inaugural year, Fermi provided experimental evidence regarding the structure of space and time, in harmony with space-time in Einstein's theory. Some scientists have predicted that space-time is not completely smooth. This means that high-energy light will take a long time to drive in a vacuum. The opposite also applies to low-energy light.

However, Einstein's theory states that all electromagnetic waves, radio, infrared, visible light, x-ray, and gamma rays penetrate empty space at the same speed. This is important in this mission.
