News24xx.com - Officially two Indonesian racers will be competed at the world-class race in Malaysia this weekend. Namely November 2nd to 4th 2018.

The first one is Dimas Ekky Pratama. He will officially participated on the race in the Moto2 class on the Malaysian MotoGP title. He replaced Bo Bendsneyder in the Tech3 Racing team who suffered an injury.

As is known from the MotoGP Twitter account, Bo Bendsneyder suffered a left leg tibia fracture during the Japanese MotoGP race some time ago. And during MotoGP in Australia, Bo Bendsneyder was replaced by Bryan Staring.

This time, it was the turn of Dimas Ekky Pratama who has the opportunity to replace him because Bo Bendneyder was still injured and has not been recovered yet.

For Dimas Ekky, is this the second time in this 2018 season to appear in Moto2. What before was Dimas Ekky appearing at the Catalunya MotoGP, the 7th MotoGP series 2018. Then, in the 2017 MotoGP season, Dimas Ekky also had the same opportunity, namely also in Malaysia, he replaced Jorge Navarro who was injured from the Federal Oil Gresini team Racing.

Unfortunately, Dimas Ekky had to crash and failed to finish the race during the race.

And for this time it is also a good capital for Dimas Ekky to prepare for becoming Moto2 regular racer next season. He will defend Idemitsu Honda Team Asia in Moto2 2019.

On the other hand, Indonesian riders who will also be present in the Moto2 class at the Malaysian MotoGP this weekend are Rafid Topan Sucipto. He will replace Stefano Manzi from the MV Agusta Racing Team.

Stefano Manzi crashed at Phillip Island last weekend. And as a result, Manzi suffered a serious injury and could not take part in the race at Sepang this weekend.

Rafid Topan himself has also been a regular Moto2 season 2013 racer.

For the Malaysian MotoGP event in 2018 this will still be held in Sepang, Malaysia. The qualifying round will be held on Saturday, November 3rd 2018 and the race will be held the next day, Sunday, November 4th 2018.
