According to researchers, this finding indicates that cave figurative art did not start in Europe, but Southeast Asia, around the last ice age. The picture was painted on limestone.

As cited from Live Science, researchers had found this painting since 1994. However, the real age of the painting has only been discovered recently.

The research team consisted of the people from Bandung Institute of Technology (ITB), National Archeology Research Center (Puslit Arkenas) and Griffith University.
