Samsung introduces smart phones that can be folded, this is the cost

Samsung Samsung -  Samsung introduced an innovative product in the form of a Infinity Flex Display foldable cellphone described by the technology company as "the foundation of a future cellphone".

In an event held in San Francisco, USA, Samsung revealed it would start producing the cellphone in a few months.

When opened, the device will resemble an 18.5 cm tablet, but when folded, a separate "display cover" on the other hand can be used.

Samsung has introduced the concept of the mobile phone for more than five years and competes with Huawei products that showcase their devices first.

However, both were defeated, when a week ago Royole, a company that was not so well known, launched its folding cellphone product.

Unlike FlexPai phones from Royole, Samsung disguises the appearance of its devices, so not many details can be submitted to the public.

It also has not revealed the name of the cellphone that will be issued.

However, Samsung calls the phone that will be launched it can run three applications at the same time.

Justin Denison, one of the executives who launched the cellphone, said that when folded the device was stored "neatly inside" in his wallet making it thinner than previous cellphones.

Samsung mobile phone sales decreased by 13.4% in the July to September quarter, compared to the same period a year earlier, according to market research firm IDC.

Although the overall sector shrank for 12 months, the performance of the South Korean company was still considered bad, with its market share shrinking from 22.1% to 20.3%.
