The owner of the site of porn video in Korea was arrested

News24xx.com -  South Korean police arrested one of the owners of a porn site that has been banned since 2016.

The Sora.net site holds more than a million users and provides thousands of videos taken and shared without the knowledge of women that recorded therein. 

Generally, it called as revenge porn, which is the spread of video footage of sex or nude scenes as revenge against people on the tape, usually ex-girlfriends.

Korean police accuse the site owner of obtaining money through advertisements for illegal brothels and gambling advertisements posted on the site.

But the suspect, who was only called his surname, Song, denied that, and said that the site users were making illegal content.

The production and distribution of pornography in South Korea is illegal.

Song is one of four people, including her husband, who ran the site from 1999 to 2016, using overseas servers, the Korean Herald reported. Three other people with foreign passports are still free.

Two suspects have been arrested in connection with the case in South Korea.

Most of the video footage on the site was taken with a hidden camera secretly in the toilet and in the dressing room dressing room, or uploaded by ex-girlfriends as a form of revenge.

A number of women recorded in the video on the site even ended their lives. And finally, following a wave of public outcry, the site was closed.
