Tinder will add more gender options on its application in India

News24xx.com - Tinder is preparing to launch additional options for gender in its application in India. The company immediately announced that users will be able to edit their profiles to choose different choices in gender identity. Reporting from TechCrunch, later Tinder users in India can change their gender options not only 'Men' and 'Women'. The same option has been broadcast in the United States since November 2016.

Since then, Tinder app in the US has added options for people who don't fit their original gender. Tinder's spokesperson revealed this news had been published in the Tinder blog. In Tinder's post, the company recognizes that it doesn't always have the right tools to serve the community in the past. Departing from this, they are now trying to learn to be a better ally for transgender and gender that does not fit the people who use the application.

Tinder said that they expanded their support team and educated their staff about the problems facing these communities in India. Tinder users can send e-mails to companies with links to their Facebook profiles so that requests to use the application are reviewed by the Tinder team. However, to what extent the size of prohibited users may return, this is not yet known.
