News24xx.com - Alya Nurshabrina, Miss Indonesia 2018 underwent a process in her struggle to win the crown and prestigious title, Miss World 2018. She was required with other colleagues from various countries to undergo a quarantine process in Sanya, China in a period of approximately one month.

 

Hundreds of Miss from various parts of the world are undergoing one of the stages of the judging process, Head to Head Challenge, starting on Monday, November 12th 2018, which this year enters its second year after being held in a new format. Through one of these series of assessment processes, people from all over the world can see more clearly and more closely the finalists.

 

From the official Miss World Instagram page account, it is stated that the world community will have the authority to choose which of their favorite contestants will advance to compete in the second level Head to Head Challenge.

The contestants who managed to win in each group will then be competed with each other to 'secure' the position in the top 30 of the Miss World final.

 

In this session, the finalists will demonstrate the ability to present the Beauty With a Purpose project that each brings.

 

The contestants who cannot win the Head to Head Challenge, still have the opportunity to win through the fast track category that is competed or through the choice of judges which means the point is that every country has the same opportunity to win the Miss World 2018 title and crown.

On Instagram social media, as uploaded by the official Miss World Indonesia (missworldid_official) account today (Tuesday, 13/11), it appears that Alya as Miss Indonesia along with hundreds of other contestants has just finished parading national costumes at quarantine hotels, or commonly called Sanya Hotel Parade (Miss World 2018 Parade of Nations).

 

In the costume parade, Alya appeared wearing a national costume 'Peacock Dance' originating from West Java, Indonesia which Alya explained her dance showed elegance and beauty of the Peacock and as a symbol of the beauty of the differences in flora and fauna that Indonesia has.

 

Alya, a graduate of the International Relations department, also briefly explained that the local community gave a positive response to the traditional costumes she was wearing.

 

Seen in some videos uploaded by missworldid_official and some photos uploaded directly by Alya to the page of his personal Instagram account, @ alya.nurshabrina, all the contestants looked very enthusiastic, including Alya, who seemed to look cheerful and enjoyed the event.
