News24xx.com - Conflicts and ceasefire in the Gaza Strip continue to occur, and yesterday (Wednesday, 11/14/2018), the ceasefire was finally mediated by the Egyptian government. Israel finally decided to stop the attack. And for Palestinians in Gaza, this ceasefire also means victory for their homeland.

As previously known, in the area dozens of airstrikes were dropped by Israeli fighter jets from the sky of Gaza. Explosions light up the darkness of the night. A number of public buildings in Gaza such as houses, shops and even the Al-Aqsa news agency were also destroyed by rocket fire.

Gazans welcomed and responded to the attacks with a number of small-scale rockets to the Israeli border. And quoted from Al-Jazeera's website, writing iron dome or rocket blockers owned by Israel sounded sirens all night Tuesday, November 13th 2018.

Until the last resistance of the Gazans ended in a ceasefire. Through Egyptian intermediaries, Israel and Palestinian political factions in Gaza including Hamas, the most influential faction in Gaza, declared a ceasefire.

Quoted from ACTNews, November 15th 2018, Al-Jazeera Reporter proclaimed from the Nahal-Oz region near the Gaza-Israel border, Hamas representatives said they received a ceasefire. The ceasefire call said, "To normalize the situation that has occurred after the military escalation in recent days."

The increasing tension between Gaza and Israel was initially triggered by the deaths of seven Palestinians in the Khan Younis region on Sunday, November 11th 2018. Israel carried out silent operations to kill their target, including one of the most respected leaders of Palestinians.

On Wednesday, November 14th 2018 afternoon, the hubbub of Gazans spilled on the streets. Thousands of Gazans celebrate the ceasefire as a 'victory'.

One of those in Gaza, Andi Noor Faradiba, from Global Humanity Response Aksi Cepat Tanggap (ACT) reported the latest situation in Gaza after the ceasefire. "All ACT partners in Gaza reported similar things that on Wednesday afternoon a ceasefire was considered a victory for Gazans" Faradiba said.

On the other hand, on the Al-Jazeera website, some countries wrote their criticisms of Israeli actions which bombarded Gaza through air strikes. Turkey, for example, through Ibrahim Kalin, spokesman for Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, said that Israeli actions were "brutal" and illegal.

The German Foreign Ministry also condemned Israeli fighter jets bombarding Gaza from above. "There is no justification for all the violence inflicted on innocent civilians" the German Foreign Ministry wrote.

This fatal attack on Gaza in October 2018 recalled the worst phases of the attacks in Gaza in 2014. At that time, in August 2014, Gaza was heavily bombarded by the Israeli military.

More than 2,200 Palestinians were killed during the August 2014 war phase. Tens of thousands of Gazans no longer own homes, and Gaza's economy was paralyzed for more than a month.

Starting 11 years ago, the story of blolade has been going on for years. Gaza is closed on all sides, and nearly 2 million Palestinians in Gaza are restricted by movements that are directly in contact with Israel and also Egypt
