After delivering his paper in Taiwan, UIR Rector signed MoA with Ming Chi University of Technology

News24xx.com - Rector of Riau Islamic University (UIR), Prof. Dr. H. Syafrinaldi, SH, MCL presented a paper at the International Conference at Ming Chi University of Technology (MCUT) Taiwan on Wednesday afternoon, November 14th 2018 local time. In that international forum, Syafrinaldi conveyed the subject entitled, 'Roles of Universities Should Play to Enhanche Social Improvement: Being the Pioneer to Cultivate Talents and Improve Economy'.

Other speakers on that forum were Prof. Chang Hsien Tai and Prof. Day Tang Liu from National Pingtung University of Science and Technogy Taiwan, Prof. Thu Hua Liu (Ming Chi University of Technology), Prof. Musliar Kasim (Baiturrahmah University), and Prof. Syafsir Akhlus MSc (Raja Ali Haji Maritime University).

Rector of UIR together with Deputy Rector I ,Dr. H. Syafhendry traveled to Taiwan to attend the Taiwan-Indonesia Higher Vocational Education Presidents Forum which was facilitated by the Regional Office of DIKTI. The activity led by Head Prof. Dr. H. Heri, MBA, LLDIKTI which brought 26 University Leaders.

Apart from the Islamic University of Riau,  Rector of the Baiturrahmah Padang University, Rector of Lancang Kuning University, Rector of Abdurrab University, Rector of Andalas Padang University, Rector of PadangUniversity, Rector of Padang Institute of Technology, Batam Polytechnic, Padang Polytechnic, STIMIK Indonesia, STIMIK Nurdin Hamzah, Kuantan Singingi Islamic University, Batam International University, Universal Batam and STTIND Padang, Maritim Raja Ali Haji University and Jambi Polytechnic.

According to Deputy Rector I Syafhendry, Taiwan-Indonesia Higher Vocational Education Presidents Forum which took place since last Monday was packed with academic activities. In addition to the conference they also reviewed a number of universities, and held bilateral talks with Ming Chi University Technology.

''The Rector has just signed the MoA (Memorandum of Agreement) with the MCUT. This memorandum of understanding is a collaboration in the field of Research, Visiting Professor, Advanced Study of Lecturers and UIR Students'' said Syafhendry to the Head of Public Relations and Protocol of UIR Syafriadi through WhatsApp, on Wednesday nightn November 14th 2018.

The MoA was signed by the Rector of UIR with the President of Ming Chi University of Technology Prof. Dr. Thun Hua Liu, and witnessed by the Head of LLDIKTI Prof. Heri, Chancellor of Baiturrahman University Prof. Dr. Musliar Kasim and other College Leaders.
