Quoted from Tech Radar, Sunday, November 11th 2018, Samsung started Project Pontis about three months ago. He collaborated with the Center of Neuroprosthetics of the Ecole Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne (EPFL) in Switzerland. Samsung explained that controlling with EPFL is collecting samples of how the brain behaves when a user wants to do something, for example choosing a program on television.

When the data on how the brain works is enough, then the system can be used as a model. Furthermore, combined with machine learning, be software that can react to various brain behaviors, in this case controlling software on television.

Exhibited at the Samsung Developer Conference, this prototype requires users to use a headset in which 64 sensors are embedded. Its function is to track the user's eyes and brain movements. However, this technology is still in its early stages. There is no information yet when this technology is available commercially and can be used.
