CVT transmitted in matic vehicle also needs treatment, do not assume it as trivial

He mentioned, for example this is for areas that often experience high congestion, and the weather is always hot. "If every day the owner of a CVT transmission is faced with such a situation, then it is strongly recommended to change the lubricant faster" he advised.

 

"For example, even though it is stuck, the position of the car stops, but the components in the engine, including the transmission will still work. The faster the turn is the better, so the CVT chain is durable, not easy to wear off" he explained.

"Keep in mind, even though CVT is equally good, but the specifications of the oil used in each car are different. And from the manufacturer there is a special standard for CVT lubricants that fits the characteristics of the car" he said.

 

"Do not use oil that is not recommended. Because it is not necessarily good to lubricate CVT. The superior lubricant manufacturer is right because it is made according to the needs of CVT vehicles. The viscosity is high which makes friction loss better when the temperature is low" he admitted.

 

And he also mentioned that the use of CVT lubricants is out of the standard of the manufacturer, besides the loss of power that is less responsive, the transmission jerks, until it makes the CVT damaged. The worst impact is, the car can no longer be used for our activities.
