7-year-old kid shows off his body, makes netizens in Tiongkok speechless

News24xx.com -  One Hangzhou kid is doing his part to combat the perception that Chinese children are all just spoiled, and little emperors.

Photos have gone viral on the Chinese internet. The 7-year-old boy named Chen Yi, who sports the rippling eight-pack of a world-class athlete despite barely being out of kindergarten.

Chen's mom describes her son as an athletic prodigy who could do one-arm pull-ups at the age of two.

Seeing greatness in him, Chen was recruited by a local gymnastics school where he now undergoes intense physical training, only coming home on the weekends.

While some might argue that this is not the way a kid should spend his childhood, for Chen at least it has resulted in one sick set of abs.

Over the weekend, he showed off his skills at a gymnastics competition in Hangzhou, winning six gold medals and one silver one.
