News24xx.com - On this earth, it turns out that there are species of wasps that can turn normal spiders into zombies. Zatypota is the type of the wasp which can only be found in Ecuador. This is known after researchers from the University of British Columbia observed the behavior of Anelosimuseximus. It is a species of spider that lives in groups and usually makes nets with its family.

It is referred to as a social spider because of their habit. In addition, these animals also often work together from hunting food to babysitting. The normal life they lived in immediately turned 180 degrees when the Zatypota wasp attacks and lays their egg on the spider's stomach. From here nightmares come.

As soon as the eggs hatch, the newly born larvae will stick to the spider's body. To survive, they will suck on haemolymph, a blood-like fluid commonly found in invertebrates, from the spiders they attach to it. Since then the social spider behavior has changed. They seemed to be a zombie controlled by the larva, and go away from their group, followed by making a cocoon-shaped net for themself.

Whereas the larva will continue to meet its needs from the spider until the animal it attaches to dies, with the cocoon-shaped net condition that was made already quite safe. Then, they will make they own cocoon before finally becoming the perfect wasp in 9 to 11 days.
