“Yes there is a report about it, we are in the process of searching for him,” the head of Fire and Rescue Service of West Jakarta, Rompis Romli.

From the information gathered, the boy who got drowned was a 10-year-old named M. Baqir, who lived in Asasan, Petojo Sub-District, Gambir District, Central Jakarta. He was reported to have drowned in Batang Hari River, Gajah Mada Street No. 21 West Jakarta on 03:20 p.m. local time.

The members of Fire and Rescue Agency of Central Jakarta and West Jakarta are still searching for the boy. The search was first done by the Fire and Rescue Agency of Central Jakarta, around Gajah Mada Street, Petojo, Central Jakarta. Rompis said that there were five of their members who were tasked to search for the boy along the area of Batang Hari River in West Jakarta.
