News24xx.com - In the Grand Slam throwing dart semi-final match, Gary Anderson (47) from Scotland managed to win over his opponent Wesley Harms (34) from the Netherlands with a final score of 10-2. What's interesting in that match was Wesley's accusation that his opponent was sabotaging him by deliberately releasing a fart on the stage. "It took two days for this smell to disappear from my nose" Wesley said, adding that it smelled like rotten eggs as quoted by the BBC on Friday, November 30th 2018.

The media highlighted the dispute between players because of the fart. Chairman of the International Dart Corporation, Barry Hearn said it is something unique because fart rarely turns into a serious problem in international competition.

What triggers fart and how bad it smells depends on the food consumed. Farting too often can be a sign of digestive problems but if too seldom can also make the stomach feels bloat.
