Bacteria which commonly found in human waste was found in touch screen system at McDonald’s in UK

They wiped each menu ordering screen and gave it to the microbiologist to study. As a result, each touch screen contains coliform bacteria.

"We were all surprised at how many intestinal bacteria and fecal bacteria in touch screen machines" explained Dr. Paul Matewele as a senior lecturer in microbiology at London Metropolitan University in Metro UK, November 28th 2018.

This is very dangerous for the health of restaurant visitors. Because people tend to order food through the touch screen and then take the food to the server section and eat it without washing their hands first. Staphylococcus bacteria are also found which cause poisoning as well as toxic shock syndrome.

In addition, as many as three-quarters of touch screens have protease bacteria, which are often found in animal and human feces. This bacterium can cause urinary tract infections. Proteur is also one of the bacteria that caused an infection. These bacteria are commonly found in hospitals that can cause septicemia.
