News24xx.com - A famous French DJ, Martin Solveig was criticized by various groups after making jokes to the first female Ballon d'Or winner, Ada Hegerberg, when asking if he could do a sexy twerking dance. The 42-year-old DJ later apologized and said that Hegerberg answered 'no' - and that after the Ballond'or's surrender Hegerberg said he "understood that it was a joke".

Then told BBC Sport, Hegerberg said he "did not consider it sexual harassment".

The spearhead of Lyon and the 23-year-old Norwegian national team was named the world's best player who became the first Ballond'or winner for women, in an event that took place in Paris. The Real Madrid and Croatian midfielder Luka Modric won the men's award, becoming the first player besides Lionel Messi or Cristiano Ronaldo, who won the title in more than a decade.

Solveig handled the music throughout the ceremony, and also floored with Hegerberg accompanied by a Frank Sinatra song.

When awarding, Martin Solveig asked, "Can you do twerking?" Answered: "No."

Hegerberg, who had just made a speech about his hopes of inspiring girls to be confident, seemed unhappy with the question. And social media reacts. Twerking is a dance movement that mimics the intercourse that was popularized by singer Miley Cyrus.
