Celebrity deaths dominated the most searching keywords on Google in 2018

News24xx.com - DJ Avicii is the most sought-after musicians in Google's 2018 version. He even ranks second with the most searched globally, after the keyword 'World Cup'. That could not be separated from the tragedy that befell Avicii, last April 20. The 28-year-old musician was found dead at a hotel room in Oman. His sudden death suddenly caused deep sorrow for his friends, colleagues and fans.

He was buried in a private cemetery in Stockholm, Sweden in mid-June. The funeral process was held closed only for families and close relatives. Throughout his music career, Avicii has produced two albums titled True (2013) and Stories (2015) which contain a series of hit songs, one of which is Wake Me Up.

Sudden death cases seem to be a magnet on Google. Evidently, after Avicii was in the second most searched position, in third place is the rapper Mac Miller who also died suddenly in September.

Ariana Grande's ex-lover died of poisoning after taking a combination of drugs for cocaine, ethanol and fentanyl. He had been suspected of overdose, but the coroner who examined him assured that the cause of Miller's death was poisoning a combination of drugs he consumed.

Under Miller, at number four the most searched on Google is comic artist Stan Lee who died last November. The man who was nicknamed 'the father of super heroes' died at the age of 95 years.

Google noted that Black Panther ranks fifth in the most popular searched in 2018. Films that tell superheroes from fictional countries on the African continent, Wakanda indeed captivated many people because it hit off by showing almost all black players. He became a new favorite super hero of Marvel fans.
