Celebrating New Year, try to eat on this Barbie-themed Osechi bento

News24xx.com - The Sogo and Seibu store departments have collaborated with the makers of Barbie, Mattel and Itochi Shokuhin a food company, to make Osechi bento with a limited edition special theme.

This bento box is equipped with two levels consisting of 32 types of delicious food. One box can be enjoyed by three people. The first level Bento has traditional Japanese dishes such as black soybeans flavored with sugar and soy sauce, Japanese fishcakes and shrimps.

However, according to the origins of Barbie from the West, bento on the second shelf is filled with Western-style foods such as roast pork with carnberry sauce and boiled broccoli with a complementary dessert.

This bento comes in a special pink box with a Barbie logo written from plastic but hand painted by wood varnish craftsmen in Kaga City, Ishikawa Prefecture. The bento box is durable and can be washed so that it can be used to serve food at home or a family food delivery container.

Not only the bento box can be used repeatedly, it also has a Fashion Collection Babie that is only less than 20,000 items in the world. Barbie is wearing a red cocktail dress made of silk stone, a type of mineral that when mixed with a special material will turn smooth.
