News24xx.com -  Air Canada plane was almost landing at the wrong taxi way at an airport in San Francisco, United States (USA). The aircraft was spinning before finally landing on the right airstrip.


Described by the Federal Aviation Authority (FAA), as reported by AFP, on Wednesday, July 12 2017 the incident occurred on the aircraft types Airbus A320 belonging to Air Canada shortly before midnight on Friday, July 7 2017 local time.

At that time, the aircraft was given the instruction to land on runway 28-Right at San Francisco International Airport, California, USA.

"However, pilots with less caution took place to Taxiway C, parallel to the runway," saidthe FAA in a statement.

"An officer ATC (air traffic control) directs Air Canada to fly a whirl. The plane made another approach and landed without incident," he added.


Air Canada's aircraft with flight number AC759 it took 135 passengers and five crews when the incident occurred.

The aircraft was flying from Toronto, Canada to San Francisco, USA.


When the incident occurred, four other planes were lining up on the Taxiway C waiting for permission to take off from San Francisco International Airport.

The FAA is currently investigating how close the Air Canada aircraft are lining up to take-off at Taxiway C.
