Mourinho feels framed by the management of MU after he was fired from the team

News24xx.com - Jose Mourinho reportedly felt framed by Manchester United Deputy President, Ed Woodward when he was sacked by the Red Devils' management on December 18th. Mourinho was sacked by Man United on Tuesday, December 18th 2018 last week after Paul Pogba and his friends slumped in the English Premier League. The decision was taken by Man United's management two days after the defeat of MU by Liverpool.

The Manchester Evening News reported, Mourinho was invited to a Woodward meeting at Carrington on Tuesday morning. Citing The Sunday Times, Mourinho arrived at the club's training ground to do a meeting with Woodward to discuss the transfer strategy of Man United's players in January 2019.

Mourinho is reportedly optimistic Woodward will give him his support to buy players in the season. However, Woodward later gave news that Mourinho was fired from Man United. Mourinho thinks his future at Man United is safe until at least the end of the season. Moreover, Man United is still competing in the Champions League. The decision to dismiss before Christmas made Mourinho really surprised.

Despite being sacked after 2.5 years of coaching Man United, Mourinho claimed to remain proud to be the manager of the Red Devils. "I feel proud from the first day of coaching Manchester United, and I'm sure all Man United supporters know that. I work with a number of great figures and I'm sure some of them will be my friends for life" Mourinho said.
