But, in this year's CES event which began on January 8 2019, Apple has prepared a surprise for CES visitors who are considered a form of satire for Amazon and Google. Reporting from Mashable, Monday, January 7th 2019, the surprise appeared in the form of a giant billboard.

With a black background and white letters, the ad shows the slogan "What happens on your iPhone, stays on your iPhone". This ad is a play on words from popular slogans "What happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas". In the advertisement Apple wants to show its commitment to protect the privacy of its user data.

The ad also shows the apple.com/privacy link, which is a portal that shows how Apple has managed to make user data safe and secure. More interestingly, the billboard is on the side of the hotel Spring Hill Suites by Marriott, which is located right next to the Las Vegas Convention Center, where the CES hustle and bustle takes place.
