Ten of thousands of Indonesians signed two petitions to lower price of domestic flight in Indonesia

News24xx.com - Since a few days ago it was reported that a petition was circulating about the request to lower the price of domestic flight tickets on the Change.org site. There are two outstanding petitions, but the content is more or less the same, namely highlighting the high price of domestic flight tickets which directed at the Ministry of Transportation.

The first petition entitled 'Lower Domestic Ticket Prices' which was started by Nadya Wulandari was written based on her shock at seeing the ticket prices of Jakarta-Pontianak which was IDR 300-400 thousand and rise to around IDR 800 thousand.

Then the second petition entitled 'Lower Indonesian Domestic Airline Ticket Prices' which was started by Iskandar Zulkarnain was written based on his experience seeing the high price of domestic ticket flights in Indonesia, which in fact was encouraged to become a leading tourist destination by the government.

Until Saturday, January 12th 2019 yesterday, the petition is signed by 72,217 people. The Ministry of Transportation whose name is mentioned in the petition also has not provided a response regarding this matter. And from tweets of netizens, it is that the increase in ticket prices is not only felt by the Jakarta-Pontianak flights, but also in all of the flights in Indonesia.
