Student from Egypt got expelled from her university because she was hugged by a man that proposed her

News24xx.com - A student from Egypt's Al-Azhar campus was reportedly expelled from her campus. The reason is because she was caught hugged by a man. The man is her boyfriend who just proposed her in the campus area. When the video was spread, the woman was expelled from the university because she was considered tarnishing the reputation of the campus.

In a video circulating, a man appeared to carry a bouquet of flowers and then knelt before the woman. You can guess if the man is proposed to ask her to be his wife. Not long after that, they seemed to hug for a moment afterwards which meant the woman accepted a man's proposal.

The video was actually not taken at the Al-Azhar campus area which is known as one of the world's most prestigious universities. Reported by Dailymail, the student was proposed at the University of Mansoura, where the man studies. But because she was known as the Al-Azhar’s student, she got expelled from campus.

Representative of the Al-Azhar campus, Ahmed Zarie, said that the video had caused a public noise. The campus decided to expel the student because it was considered to have displayed a bad image of the university. According to them, hugs between unmarried women and men violate the values ??and principles in society.
