Handsome afghan singer became viral because of his resemblances of Canadian Prime Minister, Justin Trudeau

A man became a conversation because his face looks similar to the Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, and the unexpected thing is, the man came from a country so far away from Canada, namely Afghanistan.

Man who looks similar to the Canadian Prime Minister was found from an Afghan talent search event. The man is known as Abdul Salam Maftoon and is a singing contest participant from the show of Afgan Star. After appearing in several elimination rounds, the participant got the nickname 'Afgan Trudeau' because of the similarity of his face with Justin Trudeau.

At first glance, both of them do have similar features on their faces. Abdul Salam and Justin Trudeau have similar eyes, eyebrows, and lips and hair colors. This also helped Abdul become more publicly known at the event.

Reported by The Guardian, Abdul Salam Maftoon is a wedding singer in the smallest area in Badakhshan Province before joining Afgan Star. He was said to have never heard of Justin Trudeau at all before one of the show's judges mentioned their resemblance.

"People have forgotten my name and now they only call me 'Justin Trudeau'. I don't know anything about Justin Trudeau until I see his picture on social media. The similarity has increased my chances of winning the competition by 50%" he told AFP.
