News24xx.com - A 68-year-old man named Abou Zakkour who lives in Aleppo, Syria, has a unique way of dressing. He only wears yellow-colored clothes in the past 35 years, to the point that he gets the nickname “Yellow Man of Aleppo”.

Zakkou only wears yellow since January 25th 1983. He wears yellow clothes, complete with yellow accessories like yellow tie, yellow hat, and even carrying yellow umbrella and yellow phone case. If he does not find a thing that matches his clothes, he will paint it yellow. “To me the color yellow symbolizes love and something that is never done before and even no one can stand,” Zakkour said.

Zakkour also said that he believed no one in this world can stand wearing yellow for 35 years other than him. Day or night, inside or outside, he will always wear yellow clothes and accesories.

Zakkour claimed that he feels weird if he wears other colors. Other than his clothes, some other things in his apartment in Maari in Aleppo are also yellow, like the tablecloth, the bed sheets and even the trash can.

Living in Aleppo, Syria, which is known as a war zone, is not easy for Zakkour. Some people believed that he is an informant for Bashar al Asad. Others connect his yellow clothes to ISIS or Al-Qaeda.

In a painful video that went viral in 2013, it is shown that Syrian Army is beating and torturing Zakkour. After seeing how the soldiers treated him 5 years ago, it was a surprise to find Abou Zakkour still alive and safe today.
