The woman whose name was not mentioned was threatened with a six-year imprisonment. Being a defendant in an assault case, she went on trial in Nizhnekamsk, Russia. Shakur underwent three weeks of hospital treatment because of the stabbing done by his lover. He suffered stab wounds almost all over his body.
