Sri Mulyani said, the celebrities, YouTubers, and others being known because they did something creative and innovation. "If they get income below IDR 54 million, they will not get taxes, because it will be included in non-taxable income" she said on the sidelines of a working visit with the Minister of Communication and Information Rudiantara to the Sangihe Islands, North Sulawesi.

However, for well-known celebrities and YouTubers, especially if they earn more than half billion Rupiah, they will be taxed. "If you get IDR 2 million, you will not get tax" she said.

On the other hand, Sri Mulyani said that there were e-commerce players who asked the government, especially to the Ministry of Finance and the Ministry of Communication and Information regarding consumer protection. "Because they can sell anything. Later if there is an item that is not matched with the description, consumers can complain to the government. So if you buy something on E-commerce, the company will be responsible if they give the consumer something different than what you ordered" Sri Mulyani said.
