Chinese man was tried by court after three women he married filed a report against him

News24xx.com - A man named Zhang was tried by a court after all of his wives filed a report against him. Zhang previously was married three of his wives in different provinces. As reported by Shanghaiist, after marrying three women secretly from 2015 to 2016, Zhang arranged them to live close to each other. The man who is the owner of real estate agency gives an apartment to each of his wives with distance of one kilometer from each other.

Zhang married his first wife in 2015 and met with two other wives when they searched for property and contacted Zhang. In living the household life, Zhang will travel back and forth from his first wife's house to another wife's house. If Zhang has to stay at one of his wive’s house, he claimed he was on a business trip to other wives.

Zhang's second wife then began to become suspicious after reading the text message of her husband's conversation with another woman. She followed Zhang who said was 'doing a business trip' and turned out he was in his first wife’s house whose lived nearby.

Zhang's second wife also found his third wife who is in the pregnant condition after he sent an SMS and repeatedly calling her. Despite feeling cheated and betrayed, the second and third wife of Zhang admitted that her husband is a loving and caring man.

According to Chinese law, married couples cannot remarry if they have not divorced, Zhang's marriage is considered illegal. However, Zhang claimed he did not know that marrying more than one woman is illegal.
