Microsoft urges the users of Windows phone to switch to Android phone or iPhone

News24xx.com - Microsoft said that anyone who still uses a Windows 10 mobile device, or used to be called a Windows Phone, must immediately switch to an Android phone or iPhone. That's because Microsoft is certain to stop all updates for Windows Phone on December 10, 2019. "With end of our support on Windows phone, we recommend that consumers move to Android or iOS devices" Microsoft said on its website.

The company led by CEO Satya Nadella has indeed invested a lot on iPhone and Android, especially in developing Office products. They also partnered with Samsung in the form of bundling Office on flagship phones.

Microsoft even acquired Nokia's mobile division in 2014 which was worth of USD 7.6 billion to strengthen the Windows Phone. But this platform has never risen to the top. The cause of the failure is suspected to be diverse. One of them is the lack of applications that available when compared to Android or iOS.
