In a statement, Tiger Eye Pi said Hussein-Suale received a death threat after completing a documentary about the practice of bribery and corruption in the world of African football. As a result of his journalistic work, the chairman of the Ghana Football Association resigned.

Hussein-Suale's identity, which was disguised, was revealed by a member of the Ghana parliament, Kennedy Agyapong. He showed a picture of Hussein-Suale and his residence in an interview on Ghana television station TV NET 2. In a videotape, he stated he would pay anyone who attacked Hussein-Suale. "That boy (Ahmed-Hussein) that's very dangerous, he lives here in Madina. If you meet him somewhere, break his ears. If he ever comes to this premises, I'm telling you, beat him. Whatever happens, I'll pay because he's bad, that Ahmed." said Agyapong.
