A 19-year-old, who loves the life in prison, keeps doing crime to come back

News24xx.com - Many prisoners cannot wait to be free from the jail. But not this guy. This 19-year-old young man from Bali admitted that he liked to be caught by the police and thrown into jail, again.

Before this, the young man, Gede Kama, had been captured and jailed for 10 months. No one had suspected that he would commit a crime again after being released.

Gede Kama stole a mobile phone from someone’s house. The police had a hard time capturing him because he could hide and escape well. But after 6 days of investigation, this unemployed man was caught in his home when he was asleep.

Gede Kama admitted that he used the phone he stole for taking selfie. When he was bored, he would sell it.

“I stole mobile phone to take selfie. I stole it myself, with no order from anyone. Last time, I was released from Singaraja prison on January 20th 2018. I was imprisoned for 10 months. I live alone. My father is dead and my mother has remarried,” he said.

When asked by reporter, he said that he was happy to come back to the prison. He said that in prison, he does not have to worry about food because he will always be fed.

“I’m happy because I can get food,” he said on Tuesday, January 22nd 2019.

The police still investigate the case of Gede Kama. They try to find out whether he did any other crime because he was known to be a skilled thief. Due to his crime, he had to live in prison for 5 years to come.

The story of Gede Kama is very sad, especially after you know his reason. Because of his financial problem and the fact that he lived alone, he found happiness in prison of all places.
