Donald Glover won 4 Grammy awards thanks to his song 'This is America'


Donald GloverDonald Glover - Rap singer Donald Glover, also known by his stage name Childish Gambino, became one of the two musicians with the most winning in 2019 Grammy Awards. He won four awards: Best Music Video, Best Rap/Sung Performance, Song of the Year and Record of the Year. All of this awards were won by his song This is America.

Unfortunately, Glover was not seen in every corner of Staples Center, Los Angeles, US, on Sunday evening, February 10th 2019. This is because he did not come to the ceremony.

There is rumor that says that Glover refused to come to Grammy Awards ceremony because he thought that it was unfair to the hip hop music, but this rumor is still unconfirmed.

“I just want to say that creating music with Childish Gambino has become one of the biggest fun in my life,” Goransson said.

There was only 1 out of the 5 nominations he got that he did not win. In the Best R&B Song category, he lost to Ella Mai’s Boo’d Up.
