As cited from Scientific American, this frequency can help heal the bones. Researchers believe that purring is cats’ way in stimulating their muscles and bones without letting out much energy. Research reveals that it can also help heal the muscles and bones in humans.

Cats can also purr without making noise, but we can still feel it. This is because their purr is too low to be heard. You can check by putting your hand on your cat’s throat. You will feel the vibration.
