Prince Charles is allegedly jealous of Michael and Carole Middleton, his son’s parents-in-law

News24xx.com -  The royal family members are also human, so they are also prone to human feelings like jealousy. For instance, Prince Charles is allegedly jealous of Michael and Carole Middleton, his son’s parents-in-law.

Michael and Carole mostly stay out of the royal life. While they attend some family engagements, they do not join their daughters on more formal affairs. Nonetheless, they are still part of Prince William and Kate Middleton’s life.

Prince Charles is reportedly jealous of Michael and Carole because he thinks they are the favored grandparents. 

The prince felt isolated from his grandchildren, George, Charlotte and Louis. Especially after William and Kate decided to change their Christmas plan and spend the holiday with Michael and Carole Middleton instead.

According to British journalist Tom Bower, Queen Elizabeth II even ignores Carole Middleton on social occasions due to Charles’ fear of being overshadowed by Kate’s parents. Apparently, it went out of hand to the point that Prince William had to intervene.

William actually asked the Queen for advice, as he was “infuriated” by the matter. As sort of an apology for the “hurtful snub” toward Carole, the Queen invited her to a tour around Balmoral estate, even driving Carole herself.

While it is unclear how their relationship is at the moment, Prince Charles and the Middletons are polite to each other in public. Charles is also allegedly feel threatened by William and Kate’s popularity, feeling that the public favors them over him.
